They positioned the Prius more niche, with the design as its selling point. Buyers who want the old idea of the Prius, can go to the Corolla Cross Hybrid.

This is the new Celica, even though t has four doors. The mission of old Prius is now served by Camry.

Nice work. I have the 2024 Niro SX Touring. It didn't come with a cargo cover. My dealer in Fort Collins Colorado said there is no cargo cover. I don't know why they said that because there are spots in back to attach one. Would you know how I can find one?

First gen. Tacoma, 3rd gen 4Runner, and T100 pickup all had a 3.4 L V6. It's actually quite a legendary Toyota engine. General motors also had a 3.4 V6 in the '90s.

How soft is the ride? Softer than the current 4Runner? I remember test driving one and it pretty much absorbed everything. Felt like you were floating.

I have this car, nice driving feeling, great fuel consumption, do not feel underpowered even for 103 HP, rev cam, 6 airbags, ABS brakes, cheap maintanance, just a few negative points, and i dont feel like a must have but would make this little one perfect: backseats are to small, I would rather an armrest with cupholders instead of the "middle" seat, which is very uncomfortable, an armrest for front seats and a bigger screen display, the factory one feels so small and the resolution is poor.

They cancelled the actual Landcruiser/Lexus LX twin (300 series I believe) and brought us a Toyota version of the Prado/Lexus GX twin.

Just a couple of comments - the roof isn't a 'graphic design' it's the formation of that kind of carbon fibre that makes the pattern. The pic you showed of the 86, was an MR2.. Thanks for the vid though.

At least the CVT is gone. These do look good in public. You are better off with a Pilot or HIghlander but that comes down to what you can afford.

Why didnt toyota equipped it with a 4 cylinder engine turbocharged instead of 3 they could have done that easily. Is that because to reduce weight?

The question I have is how long will that three cylinder motor last?

All very nice and all that but give a car that I can get in and go anywhere at anytime regardless of weather and without thinking how I’m going to charge it up during the trip/at the destination/on the way back. I really just can’t imagine having a car that has limited range and have to plan its “fuel” supply. Yes they’re cheap to “refuel” but they cost more and right now have the worst reliability of all the different vehicle power modes. If they were selling gas cars that you had to wait a long time for the gas to fill up and wonder where on earth your next gas is and if everyone else is using that pump that you need. Whether you remembered to plug it in before you went to bed and had that long trip the next day and so on. Give me gas any day. Cheaper car. Everyone can fix them. And guess what - I can go wherever and whenever I want to in it.
